The Woman Behind YMB
Yaya Marie Birch

YaYa moved to Jackson Hole nearly a decade ago, drawn by the landscape, the stillness, and the possibility of healing. She built her career in hospitality, rising into leadership roles at some of the area’s most exclusive establishments.
As a Black woman in predominantly white luxury hospitality spaces, she experienced the distance between exceptional service and the care extended to those providing it. Those experiences, alongside her own history of trauma, shaped her belief that dignity, belonging, and personal attention should be at the heart of hospitality. YMB grew from that conviction.
Today, YaYa brings her local relationships and leadership experience to stays that feel deeply personal. A certified travel advisor with IATA and CLIA accreditation, she personally books travel and works with a trusted network to coordinate experiences in Jackson Hole, across the United States, and internationally.
Her work is grounded in a simple intention: that every person feels considered, supported, and cared for, wherever they land.
