About YMB Teton Services
Elevated Hospitality.
Led With Humanity.
Founded in Jackson Hole by YaYa Marie Birch, YMB Teton Services was created to deliver seamless hospitality while leading with dignity, care, and intention.
Meet the Founder-
Yaya Marie Birch
YaYa Marie Birch didn’t build her business because it was easy—she built it because it was necessary.
Nearly a decade ago, YaYa moved to Jackson Hole drawn by the land, the stillness, and the sense that this place could offer healing. She entered the hospitality industry and quickly rose into leadership roles at some of the area’s most exclusive establishments. On paper, it looked like success. Behind the scenes, it was far more complex.
As a Black woman working in predominantly white, elite hospitality spaces, YaYa often navigated isolation, unspoken bias, and environments where excellence was expected but dignity was not always extended. Alongside her professional life, she carried a deeply personal history of trauma—experiences that shaped her empathy, resilience, and understanding of what it truly means to feel safe, seen, and supported.
Despite these challenges, YaYa worked relentlessly, leading teams and managing high-pressure service environments with care and precision.
Why YMB Teton Services Exists
While building her career, YaYa witnessed an industry struggling with burnout, lack of protection for workers, and leadership models that prioritized performance over people. During this same period, she lost her father to cancer and faced her own mental health challenges.
Rather than stepping away, YaYa chose to build something different.
YMB Teton Services was founded on the belief that excellence and humanity belong together. What began as a vision for better hospitality became a full-service concierge, catering, and events company rooted in ethical leadership, kindness, and mental-health-aware practices.
Every experience YMB delivers—whether a private dinner, retreat, wedding, or multi-day gathering—is designed to feel seamless and elevated for clients, while also creating dignified, supportive work opportunities behind the scenes. Calm execution, thoughtful planning, and respect for both guests and staff are non-negotiable.
A Different Kind of Hospitality
Today, YMB Teton Services serves private clients, families, retreats, weddings, and venues throughout Jackson Hole. The company is built on trust, discretion, and a deep understanding of what it takes to create meaningful experiences in a destination defined by privacy and high expectations.
As the only Black woman business owner in this space locally, YaYa uses her visibility to quietly expand what leadership and belonging can look like in Jackson Hole. Not through performance—but through presence, integrity, and care.
This is not just a hospitality company.
It is a model for ethical, human-centered service—where people matter as much as the experience.
